FUNKATELLO

Born in 1999, Funkatello's (MJ Hansen) work combines intense color with unique character creation and world building. Raised in the midwest with an art teacher and toy maker father who taught him how to work with a variety of mediums at an early age.  MJ graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2017 with a Bachelors of Art & K-12 teaching endorsement.  He then taught drawing and painting for 3 years at Lincoln Northeast High School before leaving to pursue other musical and artistic interests.

Most recently his focus includes a brand new Glyos articulated figure in collaboration with his father THEGODBEAST and Matt Doughty of Onell Design.
